Enjoy this week's "Recipe of the Week" - Savory Noodles
From 7 – 10 students will be gaining knowledge from basic knife skills to more complex culinary techniques as well as mastering the nutritional, facts, skills, concepts and processes. Behind the scenes teachers are beginning to trial new recipes to ensure students are provided with opportunities to use critical and creative skills that are required for the future.
Year 7 students will be investigating how box snacks have changed over the ages. Students will begin their investigation on how technologies and consumption of snack based food products has changed since the First Nations Peoples. Students have the flexibility to look at a client of their choice, for example “Tradie" “School Student" or “Office Worker". Building flexibility in assessment items can provide students with an autonomous learning experience.
