On Thursday afternoon, Year 11 and 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies students visited CQID, to participate in a Kup Murri and corroboree with Mundagatta Culture. Jordan and Chase from Mundagatta had laid down the Kup Murri at 4am that morning, and all the students enjoyed learning about the process and eating the delicious food! We also got the opportunity to watch Jordan's dance group, and listen to Jordan's didgeridoo, and Miesha's beautiful voice. Some of us even joined in the dancing!

Mundagatta Culture has been working with the class this term to tell stories through various art forms, and our class painting has been taken to create special class shirts that we will receive in Term 3. What a great celebration of First Nations culture!
