North Rockhampton High is proud to offer a number of outstanding facilities. The performing arts centre and music building provide an excellent environment for students studying music and/or instrumental music and drama. Refurbishment of the library has enabled the library to be re-designed with contemporary learning areas, for example, senior lounge area, café style learning area and a lecture theatre which seats 90 people. In recent years classrooms have been upgraded with some rooms being furnished with electronic whiteboards and laptop facilities. The Hospitality Trade Centre has an industrial quality kitchen with a restaurant which can seat up to 120 people. New kitchen facilities have been added to support cooking programs for all year levels. The HSC was built int 2019 and has provided a state of the art indoor sporting complex allowing teams to train and compete regardless of the weather. In 2020 the school renovated the gym by doubling it size and increasing equipment and facilities to cater for the expanding interest in fitness programs.
