Library Resource Centre

The Library Resource Centre staff aim to provide a wide range of services and facilities which allow students and teachers to achieve their educational objectives and learning outcomes.

The Library Resource Centre is staffed by a full-time Teacher-Librarian and one full-time Library Assistant.

The Teacher-Librarian is responsible for the management of the library’s services and facilities and is engaged in the teaching of Information Literacy and Research Skills across the curriculum and collaboratively works with teachers to implement the Guided Inquiry Approach to learning.

The comfortable, safe and friendly environment of the library is conducive to student learning and research.

There is an extensive fiction collection for both Senior and Junior students who are encouraged to pursue reading as a worthwhile recreational activity.

The collection of over 22,000 resources includes fiction, non-fiction and reference books.

A Games Club is held in the Library Thursday afternoons from 3.00pm to 4:30pm, giving students a safe environment staffed by teachers who all donate their  time.

Students who wish to study, work on assignments or arrange meetings with teachers are most welcome.

Opening Times: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm.

The Library is open every day during lunch breaks.
