NRL ambassadors, Preston Campbell, Clinton Toopi,
David Faiumu and Lionel Harbin, visited North Rocky High to speak to our young
footballers about the importance of standing up, speaking out and taking action
against domestic violence.
The NRL is working alongside domestic violence partners to
develop a program called “Voice against Domestic Violence”. This program is being rolled out to schools
in Central Queensland and raises awareness for young league players.

After completing football drills with the students, the NRL
legends also spoke to the aspiring players about how to avoid crossing the line
in such a physical sport. And also highlighted that at no point should they
ever hurt a woman or a man for that matter.
